NEM FC is an adult football team that plays in the Cheshire & Manchester League, playing its home matches at Wright Robinson High School in Gorton, Manchester, it is was founded by and is currently managed by Mike Smith. The club has a high standard of football for an amateur club and attracts young men from many different cultural backgrounds.

The club management supports the players in a variety of ways, providing physiotherapy support, dietary advice and guidance as well as specialised fitness support. The club also supports the players outside of the football arena and has played a crucial mentoring role for many players including those players who are refugee or asylum seekers, facilitating support far beyond the normal reach of an amateur football club.

Sport 4 Life has supported the club by donating sports kit & equipment, paying the course fees for FA level 1 coach training courses for volunteer club officials and supporting an International football exchange trip to Portugal where the club played matches against the academy teams of Benfica F.C., Estoril F.C. and Sporting Braga F.C. Players have been encouraged to volunteer at other community sports events and have received free training to facilitate this e.g. 1st aid qualifications.

The players recently volunteered as marshall's at the Xmas lights switch on at SportCity in Manchester. Sport 4 Life has also supported the club to successfully apply for community grants to support and develop the clubs activities.
