What has made Sport 4 life’s Personal Best Programme such as success?

At Sport 4 Life we do not judge people by their personal history nor label our learners as, “Hard to Reach”. We have confidence in their ability and provide whatever necessary support is required to enable them to overcome personal barriers to accessing employment or education.

We set high expectations of our learners and push them to be their Personal Best. Managers expect staff to ensure learners achieve and do whatever is possible to help and inspire them.

We spend long periods of time with learners and understand them well as individuals. This allows us to apply the most effective techniques to motivate them and meet their learning needs.

Our delivery is high quality and innovative. Learners undertake practical, inspirational tasks and use experiential learning to enhance their skills, re-inforced by the wrap around support of the Personal Best Advisor who contextualises learning to everyday life and the workplace.

The advice and guidance we provide is high quality and effective. Sport 4 Life successfully attained the Matrix Standard for the quality of our advice and guidance services offered on Personal Best in September 2011.
