The Cheer Oldham Project (COP’s) festival was delivered as a culmination of a large Cheerleading project co-ordinated by the Partnership Development Manager for Oldham based at Failsworth High School.

The project had trained teachers and young leaders with the skills to deliver Cheerleading within the partnership schools and was supported by high level coaches from the UKCA. As a culmination of the work Sport 4 Life delivered a Cheerleading festival at the Manchester Velodrome to showcase the excellent skills that the young people had developed. Each young person received a T-Shirt, medal and certificate for their participation and could also purchase a DVD to show to their friends and family!
