Sport 4 Life focuses upon filling the gaps in provision by offering basic coach education programmes in non-traditional sport and our courses are tried and tested to meet the needs of the delivery of community sport to young people in disadvantaged areas and to enable community sports projects to effectively prepare young people for participation in the North West StreetGames.

We are an accredited centre for the delivery of The L2 Award in Community sports Leadership and Open College and offer a range of accredited, non-accreditted and bespoke education progammes that meet the needs of community sport.

Cheerleading

Train to be a Cheerleading or StreetCheer Coach with Sport 4 Lfe in partnership with the UK Cheerleading Association. A full list of courses are available on the UK Cheerleading Association website including courses for young leaders Level 1 (aged 14yrs+), Level 2 Basic Skills (must hold Cheerleading Level 1 or hold other sport NGB or teacher qualification) and also International Cheerleading Federation (I.C.F.) courses.

The cheerleading courses are very, very popular so book early.

Handball

As a major partner of England Handball Sport 4 life offers the England Handball L1 Award. Over the past 2 years Handball L1 courses have been held in Stockport, Blackpool, Burnley, Salford, Wigan, Knowsley, Southport and East Manchester.

This 2012 Olympic sport is fast and exciting, one of the most popular and rapidly developingNo Image StreetGames sports . One to watch for the future, look at the Handball website for more information on the sport. It is easy to play at virtually any existing sorts area, including outdoor MUGAs, and requires just basic equipment i.e. bibs & a ball

Tri Golf Activators Workshop

The Tri-Golf Activators workshop is designed to familiarise individuals with the Tri-GolfClick here - for The Golf Foundation's website equipment, the game cards and associated resources.  It provides candidates with the knowledge required to fully maximise the potential of the scheme and deliver activities in a structured and co-coordinated programme linked to the delivery of the preliminary level on the Junior Golf Passport.
